Description |
We currently have an opportunity available for a purchasing co-ordinator to join the company's operations team. You'll be responsible for effectively managing purchasing of goods and services from local and international vendors. You'll also be expected to 'walk the floor' to ensure timeliness of inwards/outwards traffic within their production and maintenance stores.
As part of this division you'll play an important role in implementing strong processes & procedures whilst facilitating the ongoing research and development of the department. Demonstrated strengths in process management and improvement, along with top decision making skills are imperative.
This role will suit a person who exhibits strong decision making skills and is not afraid of asking the hard questions when warranted.
SAP experience advantageous, good PC skills and a high level of communication & relationship building talent are all essential requirements. A person from either a mechanical or engineering background will be considered desirable.
