Description |
This is a key role in an organisation whose role is to make investments which achieve the best results for its pastoral farming stakeholders. The Investment Programme Manager is accountable for: leading the development of investment strategy within the Environment and Compliance portfolio area; for the investments within this area; and communicating the investment outcomes to stakeholders.
Relationship management comprises a significant component of this role, working with a wide range of stakeholders within the pastoral sector, Central and Local Government Agencies, Non-Governmental Organisations, and private companies. Accordingly applicants will need to evidence excellent relationship management competence and strong ¡®political nous¡¯.
We are seeking enquiry from tertiary-qualified candidates who work well within a small team environment, and who have:
Experience and knowledge of pastoral farm practices.
Excellent relationship management skills at a senior level.
The ability to communicate with and gain respect of farmers, scientists, investors, policy makers and Board members alike.
Experience in negotiating contracts and managing complex programmes of work.
