Description |
Employer: Hudson New Zealand
Our client requires a Datawarehouse Business Intelligence Analyst on contract for 3 months. Your role will be to act as the main liaison and advocate for the business stakeholders of the DW/BI systems for our client, and to provide DW/BI specialist knowledge to support day-to-day operations.
For this role you will bring the following skills:
Sound business knowledge and experience
Extensive experience in Data warehouse design, development and maintenance
Proficient in PL-SQL, SAS and Oracle, Oracle DBA tasks, Oracle Portal and Discoverer, Oracle Warehouse Builder
Experience in large scale, complex Data warehouse environments and BI systems management
ETL skills, load balancing & performance monitoring
Data modelling skills, normalisation, denormalisation
Good understanding of processes, policies, procedures and business/commercial practices, ability to see the big picture and understand Business drivers
Excellent Business Analysis skills to define business requirements and develop systems design
Sound knowledge of software systems development life cycle (SDLC), and Change Management principles
Possess a broad knowledge of `Best Practice' process in the marketplace to support a leading edge Business Intelligence solution
Contract rates will dependent on skill set and experience and you must be available for a near immediate start.
