Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 Medical + more
Our clients Christchurch building services team needs a Mechanical CAD Designer with a comprehensive level of experience in commercial and industrial buildings projects.
You will have the chance to sink your teeth into a wide range of work covering industrial buildings, commercial buildings, airports, healthcare and special one-off projects giving you exposure to some of the largest and most complex and interesting projects available in both NZ and the international market places today.
Core to this role will be the preparation of AutoCAD drawings, with accountability for quality technical solutions. They invests in new technology, and encourages regular knowledge exchange through on-the-job training with peers, as well as a nationally co-ordinated network of CAD users that will enable you to continuously develop your skills and progress your career.
You will need to have excellent CAD skills and a strong eye for detail, be a committed deadline focussed team player, who enjoys liaising with engineers and designers alike.
To be successful in this role will require;
Minimum 5 years experience preferably within a consulting environment
NZCE or equivalent with a strong technical aptitude
Excellent coordination and planning skills
Mechanical/Plumbing & Drainage draughting experience essential
Proactive and keen to develop within the industry
