Our client is a multinational freight forwarding company looking for an experience Storeman to join their team. Previous employment in a freight forwarding company within a similar role is essential !
The position will involve handling export and import cargo. For exports, accepting in cargo, check weighing and measuring, loading and labelling freight, lodging freight with airlines. For imports, checking freight into the warehouse, picking up freight from customers, transhipment onforwarding, despatch and co-ordinating deliveries and devanning of containers. Other than that, general warehousing duties, driving the hoist and keeping the warehouse in a tidy manner.
