Description |
Employer: Debbie Graham and Associates Ltd
Our client is NZ’s longest established private equity fund manager with $200m invested in management buyouts (MBOs, MBIs) and expansion stage investments over the past 12 years. Their past and current portfolio includes equity stakes in more than 20 NZ companies.
As a result of business growth an opportunity has become available for an Analyst to join their small team based in Wellington. Reporting to the Senior Investment Analyst and indirectly to the four Executive Directors, this role will primarily encompass:
Financial modeling and analysis
Input into the process for finding and making new private equity investments
Preparing investment reports for new investments and written reviews of existing investments
Involvement in assessment and due diligence of prospective investments; and
Assistance with a variety of projects for portfolio companies
The successful applicant will possess the following key attributes:
business/finance degree, potentially engineering degree
1-3 years relevant working experience in a corporate finance or accounting environment
excellent written and interpersonal skills
team player
high degree of critical reasoning and analytical skills
sound commercial judgment and maturity
ability to manage detail
good competence with Excel spreadsheets
