Description |
A well known investment firm is looking for an accounting specialist to join their equity research team. The role will be largely numbers driven in the medium term providing detailed accounting analysis on a number of domestic and international companies. Long term there is the potential to progress down differing avenues of opportunity depending on preference and experience.
The ideal candidate will have a detailed understanding of financial reporting and the ability to extract the hidden information from financial statements. Significant work will be required on historic financials and their pattern over time. This financial analysis will be used by the team in the valuation of companies and so accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
We seek an applicant who is intelligent and considered with the ability to relate with people. Ideal experience would be ˇ°Big Fourˇ± audit or corporate finance functions with excellent technical accounting skills or perhaps even forensic accounting experience.
