An opportunity has come up for you to join this successful global company as a Logistics Co-ordinator for its Auckland Office. This part of the operation specializes in the manufacturing and distribution of bulk and packaged paint based products to a variety of New Zealand based clients.
The key components of this role include:
Managing the dispatch of product to the customer base
The accurate completion of Export / Import documentation
Assessment and review of transport & delivery completion rates
Participation in Carrier / Shipping monthly performance reviews
Responsibility for the accurate & timely flow of freight invoices
Transport & Shipping contract negotiations.
Ideally you will Freight & Dispatch experience, have good computer skills, possibly have used SAP as an operating system (if not, full training will be provided) and have the ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
You will be joining a team of five and you will have to ¡®pitch in¡¯ to help them when required¡¯. You will also need a sense of humour, because your new colleagues like to have a bit of fun when time permits.
