Description |
Employer: Nexus Resource Management
This is an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Estimator to join a progressive and significant leading construction company based in South Auckland. They have the people, expertise and systems in place to support the role and to take your career to the next level.
Your primary concern is developing cost plans and tender proposals for significant building projects. However, ultimately it is collaborating with both internal and external professionals to present the company with the capacity to succeed. You will achieve this by building rapport with Clients, Consultants, Sub Contractors and Supplier to understand their expectations and associated key deliverables from each project.
As an estimator working on sizable projects you understand the technical and resource issues affecting the building industry and have developed strategies in the past to meet specific needs of individual projects. A degree in Quanitiy Surveying or Construction Management is ideal although a proven track record in winning profitable business projects is most important. We would anticipate that the successful candidate will have at least 5-10 years experience in a similar role within the Auckland construction industry.
