Description |
Employer: Maxrecruitment
The Senior Project Manager will provide full project management duties together with ongoing responsibility for the implementation phases of one to two major building and construction projects by one of the intermediate level project managers. This will include establishment phases of a number of projects and the Senior Project Manager will also be encouraged to actively participate in and promote ideas for business development. The position reports to the Branch Manager and is expected to operate semi-autonomously within the company framework and systems.
The position requires an experienced Property and Construction professional. It is essential that you hold a recognised qualification in a building and/or property related discipline (such as engineering). You will have at least 10 years industry experience, including at least 3 years in a project management or above role. It would be an advantage to have had delivery end experience in a major office fit-out phase or project. Your own skills will be already well-developed across the wider project lifecycle and you will be comfortable in a range of high level settings at various phases of major projects. A high level of personal discipline to processes and documentation is expected.
The company is a well regarded professional project management consultancy who operates in a range of centres around New Zealand. Their client base includes a range of significant public and private sector organisations. The current skill base within the Auckland office is balanced from a variety of relevant backgrounds and levels. The company has established proven templates for project processes and is open to the review and development of these. Additionally there is good professional administration support available.
The location is primarily based from the company's pleasant open-plan offices in Auckland's vibrant city fringe but, as expected, will also encompass client and site visits and may involve limited travel.
The package is expected to fall in the $90,000 to $110,000 range with the company providing use of a vehicle for work purposes or reimbursement for work related travel costs.
