Description |

This challenging opportunity requires an experienced person to provide purchase advice to assist Ministers to make decisions on the level of, and priorities for, Government spending across the sector. If you have a proven background within the policy environment as well as a broad knowledge of how to evaluating policy where there is an investment of funds, then this is a great career move.
As part of a team you will focus on government purchase interests and through your understanding of the budget process you will provide advice through via written reports and briefings to senior members of staff.
Your ability to make sense of the numbers, understand government financial documents and the implications of financial decisions, teamed with your natural ability to manage relationships across the sector will be the making of your success in this position.
