Description |
Employer: Debbie Graham and Associates Ltd
Our client conducts specialist investment research primarily in the areas of financial products, fund managers and asset allocation. They wish to employ an Investment Analyst in their Research Team.
The role will entail meeting with investment professionals; carrying out research on retail managed funds, reviewing and monitoring investment management personnel and organisations; examining investment product structures; conducting performance analytics; assessing service features and efficiency; and keeping up with cutting-edge developments in the areas of academia and investment practice.
The role will also require strong database management and spread-sheeting skills, a thorough understanding of investment theory as well as being able to originate, plan, structure and conduct independent research projects relating to the managed funds industry.
We require people with a real interest in this area and having good interpersonal, quantitative and writing skills. Specifically, prospective candidates should be self-motivated, able to work independently and under pressure, and be critically perceptive. A tertiary qualification in economics and/or finance will be preferred.
