We have a position available for a Vessel Operations Co-ordinator for a well known global shipping line. The position will involve:-
* Responsible for discharge lists, load lists, import manifests, vessel schedules
* Arranging deliveries for LCL and FCL cargo
* Organising transhipments
* Invoice coding and preparing for payment
* Dealing with ports, Maf, customs authorities and clients
There's loads to keep you busy and there's plenty to learn. Salary being offered is up to 36K and you will need to have 6-12 months of freight forwarding or shipping experience in New Zealand. Excellent communication skills are required.
