Description |
Advertiser: Auckland District Health Board
ADHB has a great opportunity for a focussed, forward thinking individual to join the Emergency Management team. Primarily based at the Greenlane site, the successful applicant will contribute towards improving and maintaining the levels of emergency preparedness of the ADHB health sector as a whole.
By applying a comprehensive emergency management approach, focusing on minimising and managing the potential impacts of a major emergency event, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating and supporting key health sector stakeholders in providing an effective and integrated response.
Ideally you will have previous experience in strategic emergency management and / or planning, however we would also welcome applicants with a health, emergency service, project management or planning background who have an interest in emergency management and are looking for a change in direction or a step up in their emergency management career development.
This varied and interesting position will need the successful applicant to be highly motivated and self-directed with strong communication and interpersonal skills. They will need the confidence to synthesise, communicate and present information to a variety of internal and external partners and offer guidance and support to the wider regional partners.
