Description |
Unitec New Zealand

Over 10,000 students (EFTS) from more than 80 countries choose to study at either the main Mt Albert campus, 10 minutes from downtown Auckland, or at the well established second campus in Waitakere City.
We are looking for a permanent full-time Lecturer to join the School of Education to teach and supervise at the postgraduate level in the specialist fields of educational management and higher education.
In addition, the appointee would engage in the entrepreneurial and research activities of the New Zealand Action Research and Review Centre (NZARRC) that offers a range of leadership development programmes, delivers Ministry of Education contracts and is involved in action research and evaluation.
Applicants must have:
A Doctoral qualification and appropriate experience
A sound research record and be research active
The capabilities to teach and supervise at postgraduate level (both on-campus and at a distance)
The ability to provide academic leadership and contribute to the professional activities of the School of Education.
Credibility as a consultant
Excellent facilitation skills
The ability to mesh theory and practice-based learning.
