Join one of New Zealand’s largest non bank commercial lending organisations, managing a substantial and diverse nationwide lending portfolio.
This role offers loads of people contact and a high degreee of autonomy. The company raises funding for investments from the public by making public offers. This position is integral to this process, involving the preparation of prospectuses from start to finish. On a day to day basis you will find a good amount of variety as you collate information and draft prospectuses, through to arranging for the final format to be printed and distributed. You will receive training from the encumbent before she steps out on maternity leave, and you will also have support from the very amenable general counsel during your time in the role.
Apart from prospectus work you will also be involved in updating lending and compliance manuals where needed, and generally acting as the general counsel’s right hand.
The culture of the organisation is very down to earth, easygoing, and commercially focussed.
This role will suit you if you are a solicitor with at least a couple of years under your belt. Securities experience is preferred but not essential. Remuneration is flexible depending on your experience.
An excellent option for a solicitor returning from an OE, wanting a change or for someone who has been out of the workforce for a time and is looking for a stepping stone back in.
