JAVA DEVELOPER
We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join this Object Oriented Competency Centre in the Technology and Operations group. Object Oriented design and analysis principles rule the roost in this organisation !
As the Senior Applications Developer you will be involved with the design, analysis and development of object oriented solutions across an enterprise wide architecture. Researching and prototyping technologies form the basis of what is required from applicants for this position.
Skills and attributes relevant to this role:
Commercial experience in a Java/J2EE development environment;
Experience in the use of design and modelling tools involving UML;
Strong knowledge of the SDLC and iterative development of software;
A capability to mentor other developers;
An enthusiasm for researching technology;
Effective workload management and delivery on commitments.
