Description |

Community Projects Co-ordinator
Otara Health Inc is a not-for-profit organisation providing health education, health promotion and community development services to the Otara community.
A vacancy has occurred for a Community Projects Co-ordinator to oversee the development, implementation and evaluation of community projects.
This is an exciting and creative role that would appeal to an experienced project co-ordinator. It is a senior position within the organisation, and a candidate with relevant experience and a qualification in public health or a relevant equivalent could expect remuneration commensurate with the responsibilities of the position.
These include:
Developing, implementing and evaluating sustainable projects
Awareness of the Otara and Counties Manukau regions’ population health issues, the social determinants of health and current strategic directions in the health sector
Managing a small team to ensure contracted targets are met
Liaison with intersectoral organisations and the community to ensure relevant service planning and delivery
A proven ability to work in a multicultural environment and high level written and verbal communication skills are essential.
