Employer: Somerville Hockey Club Facility Manager Opportunity to create an enjoyable environment for the hockey community Flexible working hours Work with others passionate about sport
Somerville Hockey Club manages the clubroom facilities at the Auckland Grammer School Hockey Turf. We are looking for someone to support the club and the hockey community through managing the clubroom facilities. Key tasks Create a welcoming and comfortable environment for hockey players and supporters Ensure bar is appropriately stocked with food and drink Manage bar staff and the club's turf bookings Skills required Preference for individual with hospitality and staff management experience Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills Can work independently and use initiative The role is part-time with flexible hours, and will report to the Club Executive. The role is required throughout the year (with winter and summer hockey being run at the turf). Weekend work will be required particularly over the winter season.
