Tax Solicitor - 4/5 years PQE
Minter Ellison Rudd Watts' tax team is consistently ranked as one of the leading tax advisory teams in New Zealand. We are seeking a 4/5 year PQE Solicitor to join our busy Auckland practice.
Our firm is committed to the highest standards of excellence in providing legal services. Minter Ellison Rudd Watts maintains busy corporate, finance, venture capital, industrial relations, litigation, government advisory and property practices. Our tax team provides advice and support to those practices. Our tax team also maintains a busy practice of its own - including disputes resolution, binding rulings work, tax policy, and tax advisory work for clients across a variety of industry sectors. Minter Ellison Rudd Watts is part of the Minter Ellison worldwide group and our tax team also works with our colleagues in Australia and across the Minter Ellison group.
Our New Zealand tax team works as a National Team, and has three partners: Andrew Ryan and Joanne Dunne (Auckland), and David Patterson (Wellington). We are looking for a solicitor to join us in our Auckland office, to work with our partners and our national team of seven other tax specialist solicitors.
This position would suit a Senior Solicitor with a variety of tax experience who is looking to enhance their experience in all aspects of taxation law in a premier tax team. We are looking for someone with general tax experience, including in particular tax corporate drafting skills, dispute resolution management skills, and tax advisory experience with clients across a range of industry sectors. Experience in other jurisdictions will also be considered favourably. Minter Ellison Rudd Watts is committed to the professional development and advancement of its staff.
