WELLINGTON OR AUCKLAND BASED
Our client has a front office, high performance enterprise software that enables very large corporate customers to manage their front office functions. Your role is to act individually or as part of our clients team, working with their clients to implement software solutions. As a Senior Developer you are expected to have experience in analysis, design/architecture and development processes. You will be working in conjunction with the Project Manager. Hence you are expected to have a good understanding of the contractual requirements, to be able to identify and assess deliverables, to provide realistic timeframes, to articulate assumptions, project risks and recognise items which are in or out of scope.
You will have MOST of the following experience of -
-Delivering software or implementing packages as a senior member of a medium or large team,
-J2EE, JSP and Struts,
-Websphere/WebLogic,
-Large scale Java application design,
-Strong RDBMS experience, particularly Oracle and/or SQL server,
-Experience with business rules engines, configurators or data warehousing,
-Good understanding of Rational Unified Process and the associated documents,
-Telecommunications experience.
Travel. While you will normally based in the ¡°home region¡± you must be flexible and able to undertake short, medium and long-term assignments away from base location – but probably not initially. However the client is very flexible in their approach to this to ensure they get and keep the ¡®best¡¯ people.
