Our client is an international market leader in the shipping industry with a strong New Zealand client base. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a strategic and logically thinking individual who is enthusiastic and self motivated to lead the human resources department as HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER.
This is a senior role reporting through to the Oceania Area HR Manager and responsibilities will include:
Coordinate all HR activities in New Zealand
Drive the implementation of policies, best practices and guidelines for HR within NZ
Assist other HR Managers develop and provide organisational development competencies & support to NZ Management
Support NZ Country Manager and other Country HR Managers in their building of world class HR teams
Organise coach, challenge & develop all direct reports
To undertake this role effectively you must be university qualified in HR Management &/or Business Management with 7 - 10 years HR Management experience within a commercial organisation.
