The New Zealand HeraldĄ¯s Advertising department is looking for an energetic and self-motivated account manager to join their Retail Sales team. The role of Key Account Executive requires you to achieve budgeted advertising sales targets through the effective management of a defined group of clients – namely Key Accounts.
Our key account customers are an important part of our business and via you they will have access to outstanding customer service ethics, specialist advice & solutions for all advertising products within our portfolio. You are also responsible for developing new business opportunities within your accounts; this will enhance ongoing business as well as developing strong client relationships.
You will need to be dynamic and highly motivated with a sound understanding of print media. Furthermore you should have proven experience handling structured accounts. You will be required to implement sales plans for your accounts that will grow advertising revenue. Finally you must have a professional approach; business savvy, superior negotiation skills and the ability to thrive in a busy sales environment with daily deadlines.
