Are you looking for a leadership position in database management? Do you have a good understanding of change management principals? Have you had experience with modelling and application development?
As the Oracle Database Administrator, you will have comprehensive knowledge of UNIX, LINUX and shell scripting capabilities. Being a diverse role there will be a primary focus combining a development and operational environment.
The primary responsibility of the Database Management team is to administer, maintain and further enhance business applications that are used on a daily basis. Our client has some of the largest, most complex and highly integrated applications in New Zealand. In return you will be provided with a diverse, exciting and challenging work environment that will allow you to further enhance your strong leadership ability.
To succeed in this role you must have proven experience as an Oracle DBA and a strong working knowledge of Oracle 8i through 10g, there will be opportunities to use further Oracle technologies i.e. Application Server, Internet Development Suite, RAC, Portal, APEX. With your impressive leadership skills, you will take charge of the ongoing availability, administration and maintenance of systems used by our client.
