Work across the Whole Organisation

This organisation is a crown entity that is committed to the promotion of a sustainable future for New Zealand. It is an exciting time to join this progressive organisation as it continues to grow in profile and stature and where the subject matter is of particular political interest.

As the Advisor Business Planning you will have the opportunity to work across the whole organisation and gain insight into all areas of the business. You will be responsible for the nuts and bolts of the planning process. This includes collating and drafting business related governance and accountability documents such as Statement of Intent and Annual Reports. You will also be tasked with the co-ordination of both quarterly reporting and the organisations legislative compliance and strategic risk management reporting.

Key to your success will be your exceptional relationship management skills combined with your strong business sense. These skills will enable you to access pivotal information from internal staff and Managers and ensure you receive the right information at the right time. A background in Planning is not essential however you will have a relevant tertiary qualification such as a business degree, and most importantly you will be someone who is organised, bright and enthusiastic and has a keen willingness to learn.
