Newmarket based
A unique opportunity has arisen within a Food store located in Newmarket, Auckland. This is the first flagship store for the Jones the Grocer franchise in New Zealand and we are looking for a Baker to complement our successful gourmet food brand.
The opportunity is to run the bakery operation within the Food store. You will be responsible for making European style bread and patisserie for the food store with the ability to promote and secure business outside of the Food store.
Since the challenge is to ˇ°build a business within a businessˇ± the ideal person will enjoy working independently, will have considerable personal energy and will demonstrate proven business flair.
Requirements:
Proven bakery experience in European style artesian baking
5 plus years industry experience
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Commercial Acumen
Team player
Outstanding time management skills
The desire and financial ability to commit to a business partnership with shared risks and rewards.
