A varied role for those with experience in education, transport or communications
This organisation is a leading influence on future transport policies in the Auckland region. It promotes environmental and transport sustainability and contributes to an integrated, safe, and responsive land transport system. It works with government and local agencies in the Auckland region.
Your role will build relationships with external stakeholders. You will support the partnership manager with implementing land transport policies and initiatives in the region and develop relationships with the organisation's partners to raise awareness and commitment to land transport safety and sustainability. Manage the organisations involvement in education, information, advertising, and communication, attend conferences, give presentations and participate in key regional and local planning processes.
You will have an understanding of land transport safety or public health projects. Your background might be in public relations, education or communication. With an appropriate tertiary qualification in communication, health, education or social science your written and verbal skills will be excellent. Your experience of public speaking will be put to good use as will your teaching skills or experience of delivering training programmes. Used to working with electronic and print media you will excel at communications.
