Reporting to the Senior Underwriter, you¡¯ll assist in the underwriting of Rural and Commercial Insurance risks. This involves considering the ¡®wider picture¡¯, as you assist in the strategic management of our product lines. You¡¯ll work with our sales staff in our branch network, as you establish and maintain long term relationships. At FMG, every opportunity will be provided to use our experience, demonstrating your technical and negotiation skills. Communication and customer service skills are key to succeeding in this role. An understanding of FMG culture will emerge and you¡¯ll bring a business development focus to help our sales force grow their territory profitably. Experience in the general insurance industry, and in particular in underwriting, would be to your advantage.
