My client is New Zealand¨s leading souvenir wholesaler who manufactures, imports and distributes an extensive range of branded products and souvenirs throughout New Zealand and internationally. The company has its own offices, showroom and warehouse based in Christchurch.
The Company is looking for a well organized and competent Graphic Designer at the intermediate level who will enjoy completing a variety of creative tasks to a high standard within a great work environment.
Major responsibilities of the position are:
， Prepare concept product drawings by hand and draft art work of promotions, in store display posters and other work as specified,
， Work with other product development staff on final art layout on Mac Computers,
， Attend to general administrative duties related to product details, samples and orders e.g. correspondence with suppliers, printers and sales team.
， Competent in Freehand, Photoshop and Indesign and maintenance of Mac computers.
The successful candidate will have the following:
， Experience in basic drawing and in the graphics industry,
， Excellent internal customer service and relationship skills,
， An achievement focus and strong work ethic, including ability to produce creative work quickly and accurately,
， Ability and willingness to be part of a team, sharing ideas and resources,
， A commitment to the companies current mission statement and culture including a willingness to be involved in the company mentoring and development programme, and
， Personal qualities of honesty, resilience, and flexibility.
