This new opportunity is based in a medium sized business with a unique position in the NZ market. It has an established reputation and a very solid track record based on more than 70 years of successful activity.
Building on this base, the organisation has significant growth objectives which will require the selection and development of new business opportunities.
Reporting to the CEO, this role will be responsible for the facilitation and co-ordination of activities to generate potential opportunities and the design and management of systems and processes to provide robust selection and analysis. Success will be ultimately measured by the conversion of the selected opportunities into profitable businesses that strategically fit with the parent organisation. This role will have a part to play in the implementation of the selected opportunities.
Applicants will be able to demonstrate experience in developing and using commercial feasibility study models and be able to bring a structured approach to assessing strategic fit and commercial viability. Practical experience in assisting with or leading the implementation of new business opportunities is also essential along with the skills to work collaboratively within a senior management team.
This is a great opportunity to lead the investigation of a range of potential business opportunities and be involved in their implementation.
