Investment Analyst

Forecasting/Revenue Analysis

Circa $90k

This is a premium NZ organisation that has a massive capital investment programme planned well into the next decade. It operates in a sector which is ¡°front of mind¡± to many, and will be a particularly interesting opportunity to combine your financial accounting and analysis skills to produce high quality analysis for a range of internal clients and certain external stakeholders.

This role has a number of crucial aspects to it such as:


Maintain and enhance the 10 year Profit and Loss Balance Sheet with scenario change capability

Be an important link in the Capital spend analysis work

Produce analysis covering the future revenue requirements for the organisation

Have ownership of a significant portion of the forecasting activity including linking with the appropriate external bodies

Be right across the organisation around future strategy and important projects.

So who will be a good candidate for this role? You¡¯ll have strong technical accounting skills most likely honed in achieving your CA (or equivalent) qualification. You¡¯ll be a big picture thinker but happy working with detailed information and be adept at systems use including Excel and general financial systems. You¡¯ll also have a confident and engaging personality and have a curiosity and drive to succeed.
