We are looking for Registered Psychiatric or Comprehensive Health Nurses with high levels of energy and enthusiasm to join our team
In accord with changes to locality teams we are refocusing the inpatient units to work in a recovery oriented philosophy closely aligned with the community teams.
Te Atarau is an inpatient unit, providing 24 hour, short-term care to people with mental health problems unable to be treated in the community. The unit comprises a 20-bed unit with a 5-bed intensive care unit attached. A 5-bedded transition recovery focused unit is also on site.
Your strong communication, clinical and interpersonal skills will enable you to work effectively and develop a rapport with staff, clients, families/Whanau and other services.
