The Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) was established as a Crown Entity in 2000. EECA is the main body responsible for helping to deliver the Government's extensive energy efficiency agenda. Its function is to encourage, promote and support energy efficiency, energy conservation and the use of renewable energy sources. Exciting and diverse roles are now available to contribute to the strategy of this innovative and forward thinking organisation.
EECA are looking to employ a Programme Manager who will support their exciting Solar Water Heating programme through a mixture of facilitation, project management, external liaison and implementation activities.
To succeed in this position you will need a strong consultative style along with:
At least 5 years work experience in a project/business management role (or similar).
A solid understanding of the workings of the electricity and energy markets.
Strong problem solving skills and analytical ability.
An appropriate tertiary qualification.
You will be part of a highly project focused team environment and have plenty of energy. Your ability to demonstrate your previous public sector experience in senior customer and stakeholder relationship management will see you succeed in this challenging venture.
