Advisor (e-Communities)
For a demonstrated relationship builder and project manager with a strong understanding of community ICT issues, this is the chance to step into a dynamic new role.
Wellington City Council has recently adopted an Information and Communications Technology Policy, and you¡¯ll be leading implementation of e-Community aspects of this policy. In addition to co-ordinating Council¡¯s community computing initiatives, you¡¯ll drive the development of strong, strategic relationships with communities involved in community computing and with e-Community partners.
Tertiary qualified and/or broadly experienced in a relevant community-facing role, you will be an outstanding organiser with a natural affinity for people. To back this you¡¯ve proven success in implementing projects with significant ICT components and will have obvious business experience, particularly in the areas of planning and budget management.
