Chef (Semester Time Only)
We require an experienced Chef to join our Food Service team for rostered duties. The position is 40 hours per week during the academic year and will include weekend work.
Arana College is a University of Otago Residential College with 380 residents and our community of scholars require staff with a sense of humour and an ability to support a diverse range of people in a ¡°home¡± environment.
Arana provides top quality food and caters for vegetarian and special diets as well as special theme and International dinners. The successful applicant will need to be self-motivated, able to work with minimum supervision and must be innovative in the preparation and presentation of a wide variety of foods. This position would suit a person experienced and qualified in all areas of food service and who would like a challenging position with security of employment and regular working hours.
This position is available with an immediate start date.
