Contracts Manager
Exciting new opportunity to join one of New Zealand¡¯s leading financial services companies, in a role where you will be responsible for the New Zealand Technology Services (NZTS) contracts, covering data, networks and applications managing the governance and strategy for services via strong financial and contractual practices.You will be responsible for:Tender, evaluation and contract development for the major NZTS outsource service contracts which are due to be renegotiated over the next two years.Managing all contractual requirements and activities within NZTS to ensure that suppliers provide excellent service and competitive pricing that meets or exceeds market standardsManaging the commercial components of the outsourced services ensuring all suppliers fulfil their contractual obligations and NZTS receives value for money but at the same time driving service excellence.The governance and strategy around contracted services via strong contractual practices, contributing to policies and fiscal disciplines by working with group procurement and developing contract change processes.Developing and maintaining relationships and processes with outsourced providers according to documented and agreed Service Level agreements. You will be an experienced commercial manager, with proven ability in contract development and management best practices, able to provide the leadership around the key commercial iniatives over the next two years.Other skills required are:Strong experience in contract management and aggressive negotiation in a commercial technology environment.Experience in tender, evaluation and contract development.Proven ability to influence and manage relationships with external services providers, customers and key stakeholder groups at all levels of an organisation. An understanding of outsourced operations best practice - having previously been involved in voice and data environments.Experience with methods and techniques for the assessment and management of risk.Organised & methodical – focussed on detail and process and system drivenA strong customer service ethic and a systematic, disciplined & analytical approach to problem solving Excellent time management and multi-tasking skillsKnowledge of commercial law and a relevant tertiary qualificationInterested to know more?
