TEAM MANAGER, INFORMATION ANALYSIS
The Team Manager, Information Analysis leads and contributes to the extraction and analysis of information from databases for a wide range of internal and external audiences.
This role is a key member of the Management team. It contributes, along with others, to the development of its vision, strategy and business planning processes. Additionally, the role manages and leads a small team of analysts, but it is also required to be a key technical resource that continues to contribute to the team¡¯s output. The role¡¯s key areas of focus include leading the data monitoring, analysis and reporting work programme;as well as focusing on building and maintaining information management and quality assurance processes and standards.
To be successful in this role, you are likely to have public sector experience and/or ideally some knowledge of the tertiary sector. You will possess significant experience in data manipulation and analysis using Excel, Access, Business Objects, SAS, MapInfo, Visual Basic, statistical packages, modelling tools and web based applications. You will also be expert in database technology and have experience in database administration.
You will also likely have had some previous experience in managing or leading a team, possess strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. Due to the technical nature of the Information Analysis team¡¯s work, good communication skills to effectively inspire and lead the analysts as well as to build effective relationships with other parts of organisation and more widely will be necessary.
