Research Fellow (Fixed-term)


National Addiction Centre
Department of Psychological Medicine
Christchurch School of Medicine and Health Sciences

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the position of Research Fellow within the National Addiction Centre in the Department of Psychological Medicine.

This position is full-time for a period of two years. The prime function of the positions is to assist in the conception, co-ordination, conduct and completion of a range of research and development projects within the National Addiction Centre.

The successful applicant will be self-motivated and have a demonstrated ability to work effectively with a broad range of people, and to complete projects on time. Experience with computers and databases are essential. The successful applicant will enjoy a challenge, show initiative and demonstrate a desire to learn and acquire new knowledge and skills relevant to the position. The position requires an ability to work with a minimum of direct supervision, work on several projects at the same time and interact with a busy, nationally focused team.
