The Wellington School of Medicine and Health Sciences is seeking to appoint a Research Fellow within the Department of Public Health to assist in the creation of a vibrant and sustainable Pacific health research unit located in the Department of Public Health (Wellington School of Medicine and Health Sciences) and the Health Services Research Centre (Victoria University of Wellington).
Duties will include mentoring and supporting Pacific research fellows in their work, strengthening and making more visible Pacific health research in the Department of Public Health and the Health Services Research Centre, attracting and fostering the development of Pacific postgraduate students and establishing and maintaining a network of Pacific health researchers.
This is a part-time, fixed-term position for two years.
