Canterbury District Health Board¡¯s Site Redevelopment Team is responsible for planning and implementing of all redevelopment of buildings and property across the organisation. This included the construction of the new Christchurch Women¡¯s Hospital and Day Surgery Unit on the Christchurch Hospital Campus.
As a Project Manager reporting to the Site Redevelopment Manager, you will be experienced in the management of building and development projects, preferably within the Health Industry. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential in order to ensure the smooth co-ordination and transition of the major construction activities taking place within the organisation. Proficiency in budget management, preparation of briefs for consultants, contract law, administration and management of contractors is a vital part of this role, as is liaison with key staff within the organisation. This is a full time, fixed term position for 2 years, which offers a unique opportunity to be involved in construction and development of projects from a client¡¯s perspective, with one of the South Islands largest organisations.
