Senior Quantity Surveyor and Estimator

As the residential market continues to expand and develop, there is one stand out company uniquely positioned to meet the ever growing need’s of the Auckland market.
An award winning home builder specializing in medium to high end design and build projects is looking to add both an Estimator and a Senior Quantity Surveyor to there expanding team. With a diverse customer base they service clients from families to developers and investors, designing and building with various flexible models.
The Estimator will work at the front end of the business working closely with the sales team and the Director to submit competitive prices to clients across all sectors, whether it be large developments or one of houses. To be successful in this role you will demonstrate accurate pricing ability and be an efficient multi-tasker. You will have good knowledge of Excel or similar Estimating packages such as Buildsoft and have an ability to mentally price work and forecast time and scope for various projects. You will also have strong knowledge of construction methodology and be capable working from detailed plans as well as concept drawings. You will probably have a Quantity Surveying, Building or Construction Management qualification although experience is the key here. Salary range is from $80,000 to $100,000 plus for excellent performers.
The Quantity Surveyor will have Pricing and Contract Administration experience ideally covering residential construction and be capable of working with a diverse range of plans and materials. A multi-tasker with 5 to 15 years experience in the construction game, your knowledge and ability will see you earning at the top end of the residential market at $80,000 to $100,000 plus.
