Up to $70,000 (depending on experience) + benefits including super, bonus potential + travel related discounts!
Join a leader in the NZ Travel industry, who are seeking a proactive individual to working closely with the marketing and strategy functions. This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an accountant who is interested in commercial issues!
You will have lots of contact with peers, senior management and internal stakeholders, and will enjoy a variety of responsibilities including:
Preparation of financial reports, management reports, and variance analysis;
Preparation of budgets, annual plans and business cases for the marketing and strategy teams;
Financial analysis – including continual review of the business, identifying areas for improvement; and identifying trends that will provide insight into key business drivers;
Providing financial support to projects within the marketing and strategy teams.
This challenging role requires a questioning mind and the ability to provide alternative solutions.
To be considered for this role you will have the following attributes and experience:
Part or Fully CA qualified coupled with applied accounting experience in a commercial environment;
Strong analysis, management reporting, budgeting and forecasting skills;
Details focussed and deadline driven;
Exceptional communication and relationship management skills.
