CRS Recruit
Intermediate Planner Environmental Resource– Project based work! We have an opportunity for an up and coming environmental resource planner to join a smaller successful office of a large multi-disciplinary consultancy You will be joining an office of about 40 people strong, made up of engineers, technicians, surveyors and planners. As a result of a growing workload, as well as a gap between the junior and senior level planning staff, there is an opportunity for an intermediate planner (or even someone more senior) to take up an exciting and challenging role with very strong potential to take up senior level responsibilities within a short space of time, thereby accelerating your career progression!
As such, the work you will be involved in will be almost entirely project based – which makes this an ideal role for someone looking to move away from consent processing. There are also opportunities for you to develop your career into more policy oriented work should this be of interest.
To sum, this opportunity can offer you the following: An attractive salary ($55k - $80k - higher for senior staff if necessary) A relaxed yet highly professional work environment Project oriented work The opportunity to develop your career in any of the three sectors: - Project Management - People and Client Management - Policy Flexible working hours Mentoring and support from senior colleagues Social activities arranged and emphasised by management for stress relief and close knit interaction of staff members A career path – which you will define
In order to be considered for this role, you will have: An appropriate planning related degree NZPI membership (preferable, but not essential!) At least 3 years of post grad experience and excellent working knowledge of the RMA Top notch written and spoken communication skills A passion for planning work Excellent relationship building skills A strong work ethic.
This is your opportunity to take control of your career, whilst working on interesting projects and being rewarded for your performance. As such, it may well suit someone working for a local authority, but keen to move into a private sector role, or someone already working for a private company but unhappy with the nature of the work you are doing
Please send your CV to kirsty@crsrecruit.co.nz or call (09)263 3903 for a confidential chat.
