Our client is the owner/operator of one of the most crucial utilities in the New Zealand market. Its successful operation is essential to all aspects of our lives, as they provide 24/7 infrastructure, servicing and support.
We are seeking a corporate Communications Manager who can operate effectively within an environment that is constantly developing and evolving. This role offers superb diversity, as you will have opportunity to contribute and manage challenging communications issues across both business and government environments. You will be providing high quality communications advice and management across the company. You will also be dealing with media enquiries on a daily basis.
Essential to your success in this role will be the ability to develop effective relationships with the CEO and the other senior executives. Reporting to the General Manager Corporate Affairs, you will also be supported by an experienced, high performing team. Therefore, the role requires someone with outstanding people management skills.
Ideally you will have had some sponsorship or community relations exposure. However, demonstrating your experience and knowledge in a dynamic industry environment is the most paramount.
