School Administration Manager School of Business Unitec is one of New Zealand¡¯s most innovative tertiary education providers, offering real world learning experience and qualifications for a wide range of exciting careers. Over 10,000 students (EFTS) from more than 80 countries choose to study at either the main Mt Albert campus, 10 minutes from downtown Auckland, or at the well established second campus in Waitakere City.
Unitec is seeking to appoint a School Administration Manager for the new Unitec School of Business. The Unitec School of Business offers a range of programmes from certificate to Masters degree level that focus on real world business issues and interests.
In this new position, the School Administration Manager will work closely with a newly appointed Head of School to provide the highest level of service to staff by co-ordinating the day-to-day operations, as well as being responsible for managing the Administration Support Team. Specific attributes required are:
Meticulous attention to detail
Budgeting and computer expertise
Previous team leadership experience
Strong organisational, customer service and communication skills
The ability to work autonomously and negotiate solutions
A tertiary education and previous administrative experience in the tertiary education sector would be an advantage.
