Transfield Services is a diversified and innovative company with activities in Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia and the Middle East.
We are seeking an outstanding Service Centre Manager for our Electrical profit centre based in Christchurch. Reporting to the Business Manager, this position involves the leadership of a highly skilled team of technical people and tradesmen who provide services to the power and related industries in the Upper South Island. The successful applicant will also be involved in ongoing operational and margin improvement initiatives, as well as business development with both existing and new clients.
Candidates will possess the following attributes and skills:
Sound knowledge of the electrical industry or allied process industries and the related codes of compliance
Strong financial management skills
Proven track record in direct management of field work crews
Commitment to delivering high levels of customer service
Experience in tendering and contract management
Safety ethos - 100% committed to deliver & raise awareness of safe operations.
Ability to motivate, lead and develop people
