SH&E Manager
As a senior EH&S team member, the primary role of the Safety, Health and Environmental Manager is to provide the manufacturing and management personnel with advice and technical support to continuously reduce workplace injuries, illnesses and environmental incidents. This role will assist the implementation of Safety into all factory functions by influencing and coaching key management in the implementation and continuous improvement of Safety, Health and Environmental. A key communicative and service role, preferred candidates must have exceedingly strong personnel management, interpersonal and motivational skills.
The position will be responsible for:
Increasing Line Manager¡¯s ability to drive their Safety performance across all functions
Liaison with regulatory authorities and ACC
Coaching and Facilitation
Hazard and Risk Management
Environmental Incident Reduction
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
Tertiary qualification in a Safety, Health, Environmental or related field
Ability to deliver excellent results on key projects
Ability to influence site management teams
Ability to have a positive impact on a site
Accountable for results
Proven team player
Effective leadership capabilities
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of management in the region
Superior training, presentation & facilitation skills
