This is an opportunity for a successful ¡®quality¡¯ professional to utilise their proven systems skills to plan and create business, quality and safety systems in a well established energy sector organisation who is developing capability in construction management.
Based in Auckland reporting to the head of construction, the Quality Manager will ensure appropriate business systems and disciplines are in place while working closely with managers across the business. They will establish a blue print for the business systems development for the organisations new construction division, which can evolve throughout various major projects to position the organisation for future growth. This person will have direct reports of Quality Consultants/Coordinators who will be attached to the individual projects.
In order to be successful in this role you will need to have an understanding of construction and previous experience with Quality Management. You will also need a collegial attitude and an understanding of risk while showing an ability to make decisions with empathy for various business managers. You will know how to implement quality business systems in an integrated and systematic fashion that serves the needs of the business at all levels from board/governance to front line.
You will be self motivated and an extremely organised thinker that has the ability to converse with colleagues at all levels within the organisation.
