ASSISTANT TOUR CONSULTANT:
One of New Zealand’s leading inbound tour operators is seeking an Assistant Tour Consultant to join our Christchurch team.
Although there may be an opportunity for on-going employment, this is a fixed-term seasonal position based within our Christchurch office located near Christchurch Airport.
The position involves assisting our team of Tour Operators and the creation of written passenger itineraries, client documentation and in time the planning and operation of New Zealand holiday packages.
Although previous hospitality & tourism industry experience would be an advantage, it is not absolutely necessary as training will be provided – this position is an excellent first step into the inbound tourism industry.
The successful applicant will need to be methodical and meticulously accurate with details and figures, have a high level of written English, have sound computer skills, be efficient and accurate as well as having a thorough geographical knowledge of New Zealand.
