Desktop Support – Smart Contractors
We get a lot of requests for desktop support contractors, and of course they¡¯re usually needed yesterday! If you¡¯re already (or would like to be) in the contract market and are available now or soon then this could be a good move for you ¡¦.
We Maniacs have very high standards for contractors, and only represent the best. We¡¯re looking for the best desktop support gurus with great skills and at least 2 years experience in everything desktop, hardware, software and LAN connectivity. Your skills aren¡¯t enough on their own – your attitude makes you special. Here¡¯s what we want:
Self-starters (nobody has to convince you to get out of bed and come to work each day). Your professional pride drives you.
Techies who are in love with technology and take the ultimate pleasure in delighting the end user (and, of course, the person who authorises their timesheets!)
Passionate professionals who surf the net (not while they¡¯re working of course) to check out new technology and learn more about the gadgets and software they¡¯re supporting!
Highly organised people, working within and respecting service level agreements.
Well presented professionals who leave last night¡¯s beer breath and wrinkled shirt at home!
Great communicators, able to talk irate end users down off the ceiling and make ¡®em smile.
And last but not least you are professional at all times!
